Cumulus Architecture + Design LLC

we are very excited to have this design selected for HGTV’s dream home of 2013. the models at indigo park, kiawah island sc were designed by robbie lesslie, principal  of cumulus architecture + design, llc while at chris rose architects. royal indigo construction is the builder and dyal compass is the owner. inspiration for the homes came from the need to design sustainably, within the landscape while utilizing a highly efficient floor plan.

the 3 models for the 16 home sites at indigo park are all pending LEED platinum certification. the designs were originated as a fusion between the lowcountry style of architecture and cutting edge building technology. the result has been referred to as zen-lowcountry and expresses the design of indoor + outdoor spaces with a subtle modern touch.
